Most disabled people would tell you that the bigger concerns they have around the workplace are not around physical accessibility. They're more around attitudes. I think it's easier to legislate and see change around bricks and mortar than it is around attitudes.

ATN Access for Persons with Disabilities Inc. (ATN)
There is a lot of change happening in Ontario regarding Accessibility in the Workplace, and what it means to employers, and workers in general.
Ontario's Access to Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) was passed as a means to create an accessible province by the year 2025. A series of enforceable standards have been and are in the process of being developed in pursuit of this goal.
To help business owners and workers comply with the new standards ATN has created “Accessibility in the Workplace” course, and hosts it on their in-house e-learning platform.
The course was developed so that companies and organizations can comply with the first enforceable standard to be enacted: the Accessible Customer Service Standard. In addition, the information that is provided will help organizations prepare for the forthcoming integrated accessibility standards: Built Environment, Information and Communication, Employment Practices, and Transportation.
Consisting of three modules, the “Accessibility in the Workplace” course discusses our evolving notions of the concept of "disability", the Customer Service standard and what employees need to do to comply. Through a combination of realistic examples, hypothetical scenarios and multiple-choice questions, students are evaluated according to how well they have mastered the material. Students must receive a grade of at least 80% before progressing to the next module and to pass the course.
