What a way to end Small Business Month... another local success story from The Dragon's Den!
Marc Forrat,
a London, Ontario entrepreneur, won an offer from Dragon Jim Treliving of Boston Pizza fame.
Marc is the chocolatier and owner of La Chocolaterie Forrat, in the Covent Garden Market, and Bistro Chocolat on Dundas Street.
It was Marc's passion for what he does; his pitch preparation and willingness to see the big picture, along with superb truffles, that greatly impressed the Dragons. The look on Dragon Robert Herjavec's face was priceless when he sampled an Irish Cream truffle. Having been a fan of Marc's truffles for the past few years, I could relate to that taste delight!
As mentioned in my past two articles, passion, preparation and the willingness to work hard will take you far.
Congratulations to Marc and to his family for their ever-loving support in making his dreams come to fruition.
