For adults with developmental disabilities. Employment supports for people currently involved with Alice Saddy's existing support programs. Provides individualized supports in the home, for job search, and in the workplace where possible.

ATN Access Inc. *SDC
Specializing in access technology and computer assisted learning.

  • A variety of long and short-term computer courses and workshops in many commercial software applications
  • Assistive technology training using screen reading, screen enlargement and voice recognition software
  • Literacy and numeracy skills upgrading
  • Material preparation in Braille, large print, on audiocassette, on computer diskette and in clear language format
  • Job search assistance including job coaching

"Employment and Training Access Centre for people with disabilities." Independent job search centre, services include internet access, 21" monitor with ZoomText and Jaws, resumes and cover letters, fax machine, and referrals to other community agencies.

Learning Disability? ATN also provides cost-free learning disability diagnosis to unemployed adults who suspect they have a learning disability, and then uses the details of that diagnosis to tailor specific accommodation strategies they can use to address their unique barriers to education and employment.

Beck Hearing Aid Centre Inc.  Offering Free Hearing Tests as a community service to help anyone who is having hearing difficulties.

Canadian Hearing Society
Provides a wide range of services to individuals who are deaf, deafened, and hard-of hearing. Included are, counselling, interpreting, technical devices, information services, and employment assistance.

Community Living London
Provides services and advocacy to people with developmental disabilities. Approach to services is through Person-Centred planning.

Dale Brain Injury Services Inc. 
Serving adults with acquired brain injuries. Provides comprehensive individualized services, including vocational rehabilitation, behaviour management and supported independent living, day activity program.

Learning Disabilities Association London Region
The Learning Disabilities Association London region is a non-profit agency serving the needs of the community to further the understanding of learning disabilities and attention deficit/hyperactive disorder. Destination Employment is a job readiness program for unemployed LD adults.  It improves understanding; awareness; strategies and, necessary skills to get and keep a job. LOSH
London Occupational Safety & Health Information Service (LOSH) coordinates a support group for people who suffer from RSI (repetitive strain injury) and maintains a registry of RSI cases in the London area.

Ontario March Of Dimes
Employment services, vocational assessment service, community based work assessment, and occupation therapist services. Serves clients with chronic pain, learning and physical disabilities. Barrier free design and consultation.

Services for Students with Disabilities in the Student Developmental Centre assist students with various types of disabilities to adjust to the university environment.
