Education Service Providers

The General Educational Development (GED) testing program allows adults who have not finished high school to show that they have acquired the knowledge and skills associated with, and comparable to, high school completion. Successful GED candidates earn the Ontario High School Equivalency Certificate.

The GED tests cover five subject areas: writing, reading, mathematics, social studies and science. The GED tests are administered by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities. The testing is 7.5 hours in duration and is administered over two days.

The YOU GED Preparation Program offers GED assessment, upgrading and referral services to individuals aged 17+ who are interested in obtaining their GED Certificate.

21 yrs and over. Complete or upgrade OSSD/SSGD tuition-free. (Gr. 10-OAC)  Credit/non credit skills training: Retail, business, secretarial, computers, communications, technology, and transportation.  Co-operative education & certificate programs.  Day, night and self-study options.  Prior Learning Assessment.  Career Centre.  

Fanshawe College
Various employability, upgrading and skills training programs in addition to post secondary training.

The University Of Western Ontario
Offers a wide variety of non-credit, certificate and diploma courses, in addition to customized training on campus or on-site.

Centre For Lifelong Learning
Secondary school credits, basic literacy, numeracy, and ESL courses, skills upgrading.  Acquire skills for a new career. 

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)
Choose your school and program carefully. Postsecondary education costs you time, money, and effort. It is a big investment, so you should evaluate carefully the postsecondary institution you plan to attend and the programs you intend to enroll in.

London Training Centre
Hospitality Orientation Program: This Employment Assistance Service (EAS) program which is funded by Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) has been designed to provide employment services for people looking for work in the Foodservice/Hospitality industry.

This fulltime program is two weeks long and includes practical “hands on” experience in a commercial kitchen as well as group classroom sessions.

Computer Skills for Employment: This Employment Assistance Service (EAS) program which is funded by Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) and is provided at no cost to the participants has been designed to provide the pre-employment computer skills people need to help them find work.

A working knowledge of the internet and basic computer skills are also a requirement for many jobs in today’s labour market.

Our
Employment Preparation services help employment seekers learn to develop resumes, prepare for interviews and rediscover the necessary confidence to re-enter the workforce.
Our Skills Training programs provide short-term industrial skills training which prepare participants for work in London’s leading manufacturing, construction and property maintenance organizations.

ur Employment Placement team assists individuals with their job search. In order to help these individuals succeed, we have developed strong relationships with many of London’s leading employers to match their hiring needs to our skilled candidates.
We offer Language and Skills Training to English Learners. This takes place at our second site in North East London in partnership with the Centre for Lifelong Learning, World Vision, and Citizen and Immigration Canada. This site is also available as a community resource.  

Inner Insights Holistic Shcool & Spa
Inner Insights is recognized as an Educational Institution  by the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development Canada!  As we are recognized as a school "providing students with sufficient skills to work in a recognized occupation", subsidies may be available for students.  Full tuition tax receipts are available.
