  • Canadian National Institute for the Blind

    For the Blind Literacy Program for Deaf Blind Adults. Eligibility / Population(s) Served: Adults who are out of school, with spoken facility in English and literacy skills below Ontario Grade 12 level.
  • Career Directions At Nokee Kwe (*SDC)

    A Native Literacy Initiatives Program to meet the needs of Aboriginal learners. Volunteer tutors assist adult learners with reading, writing and numeracy. Ongoing support, guidance, referrals and counselling provided.
  • Centre For Lifelong Learning

    Adults aged 18 years and older. Classes available to improve reading, writing and math skills. Classes help adults prepare for high school credits and/or employment. Full or part-time day classes. Evening classes available. Programs are year round.
  • College Boreal

    Help with employment and interview preparation, skills training, resume and cover letter help, job search and networking skills. Workshops available and all services are available to both English and French clients.
  • Fanshawe College, Career & Employment Program

    A literacy/numeracy program that combines literacy/numeracy with employability training. The participant prepares for entry into further education or directly into the job market.
  • Hutton House

    Adult Basic Education – enables adults with disabilities to learn or improve their reading, writing, and math or computer skills. Can upgrade skills, earn diplomas, increase opportunities to gain employment and enhance independence. Trained volunteers provide one to one tutoring for each participant one or twice per week.
  • G.A.Wheable Centre For Adult Education

    Wheable is a host site for the Literacy London Inc. literacy program. This program is for students whose learning needs are better met individually or in a small group setting. Literacy London helps adult students strengthen their reading, writing, and math skills in order to reach their employment/training or personal goals.

    Professional development support for Literacy and Basic Skills educators in Ontario.
  • Literacy Link South Central

    Helping people find the right literacy program.
  • Literacy London

    Community-based, literacy/numeracy program to improve reading, writing and/or math skills in a 1-1 or small group setting with staff and volunteer tutors. Part-time day and evening programs in various community locations. Year round, cost free program for adults 19 years or older.
  • London Cross Cultural Learner Centre

    You will find a lot of interesting, helpful information and services which are provided to New Canadians, as well as useful links to other services in the Settlement Areas for Immigrants or potential Immigrants.
  • Thames Valley District School Board

    The Thames Valley District School Board recognizes that many of the learners who can benefit from its services are over the age of 19. Through its Adult and Continuing Education programs, the Board provides opportunities to these students.
